“CONTRACT
KILLERS” GETS CASH
BACK!!!

Tobago Film Company (TTFC)
proudly hands over a
cheque representing the
Production Rebate on the
award winning film,
“Contract Killers” to
Mr. Dave Cabral of Galt
Alliance Films, who
co-produced the hit
movie. The movie was
shot on location by
producer, G. Anthony
Joseph, T&T national,
now resident in Los
Angeles, California
The TTFC’s rebate
programme offers up to a
30% cash rebate on
production and related
expenses incurred while
filming on location.
Contract Killers
contributed over
TT$700,000 dollars to
the local economy and
created employment for
approximately one
hundred people, firmly
demonstrating that the
TTFC is achieving its
mandate to strengthen
the T&T economy through
diversity.
To-date approximately
TT$12 million has been
generated by the
industry and this figure
is expected to grow as
other film projects come
to our shores.
At the local end of the
spectrum, the TTFC is
assisting our indigenous
talent with its
Production Assistance &
Script Development and
Feature Film Programmes,
both geared towards the
creation of quality
local productions
suitable for
international
distribution and
consumption.
The TTFC encourages and
looks forward to the
support of the private
sector in contributing
to this growing
industry, as there is a
plethora of talent and a
dire need for investment
beyond the resources of
the TTFC.
Film is multi million
dollar industry
internationally and the
TTFC firmly believes
that with the support of
all of the various
stakeholders, Trinidad
and Tobago can be the
home of a highly
lucrative and viable
national film industry.
