Please be advised that that requests for entry into the Caribbean Travelling Film School programme are no longer being accepted. This programme is ACP approved and is not an initiative of the Trinidad and Tobago Film Company (TTFC). The TTFC is assisting the Caribbean Travelling Film School in attracting potential participants so that Trinidad and Tobago will be selected as the next training programme venue.
Trinidad and Tobago nationals can benefit from an exciting opportunity for training in Film and Animation through a programme called the Caribbean Travelling Film School. This eight month film training project is on offer to forty (40) Trinidad and Tobago nationals from August 2010 to April 2011 at a subsidized cost of two thousand dollars (TT$2,000.00). All classes will be held on evenings and Saturdays with a total of 12 hour sessions per week.
The aim of the Caribbean Travelling Film School is to have a direct and strong influence on the Caribbean film industry through the development of a cadre of properly trained and experienced Caribbean professionals with skill-sets developed from theoretical training and practical internship.
The Programme includes modules on:

Students will also intern on a feature-length film to be shot on location in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Caribbean Travelling Film School offers a qualified and experienced team of lecturers including:
Dr. Niyi Coker (Directing the actor)
Alison Sealey-Smith (Acting for the screen)
Wayne Cezair (Screen writing, Production and Pre-productions)
Yao Ramesar (Directing the camera)
Revellinho Simmons (Cinematography)
The venue for the classes will be finalized once all participants confirmed.
Successful participants will receive certificates of participation from The Caribbean Travelling Film School.
